Cant they tell the general length of time he was no longer living?
CSI has me thinking the should be able to tell if he even at a chicken sammich, and what cola he drank with it, what time he did, and if his boyfriend was at the lunch table with him, just by checking his stomach contents, and finger nails.

Wow I can't believe the lack of respect here. Maybe you disagreed with his view on what happened down there but to me it sounds like some were hoping for this and more like it. maybe we should send this thread to his family with a card and sign it from all ND A members. This is ridiculous.

Lack of respect....,........ So the people at the camp showed all kinds of respect to the local farmers and ranchers in the area​ buy hindering them from getting crops off the field and stealing hay bales and threatening land owners and killing livestock? Not to mention the respect they showed toward law enforcement. Yea it's a shitty deal, and sad to hear, but noone knows what really happened unless they were there. Just my $.02!

I also find it interesting that they reported him missing in October yet I've yet to see any mention of them coming up here looking for him. Not sure about you but someone in family goes missing I'm going to to go looking especially in a situation like this where you might actually have a chance. The only reason I can see for them not doing this is if he was big into drugs and disappeared on more then one occasion in the past.

I've hunted that area in the past for pheasants when the creek was froze over. There is a lot of current in that creek my guess is tried to cross it fell through sweep under ice "game over". one minute of not thinking can cost you everything. What I get from this is, his new friends didn't notice he was gone with his rental car sitting there. Sad deal for family.

I thought the sheriff said he was wearing sneakers, jeans, and a t shirt. That sounds like he went in before the river froze. What doesnt make sense is that they also said the condition of the body appears he was not in the water long

Possibly but it could easily have have taken place during one of the big freeze thaw cycles we went through. But with fruit cakes like this trying to use logic to figure out what happened is probably our first mistake!
