I know one thing the pros will not have to worry about spectator boats.

why would sak have been better?

Kurt - i am being biased thats all. I know what both audobon and lake sak have been in the list of best bass lakes that bassmasters puts out every year --- i am sure oahe is on the list too. SD i am sure has more fans, more bass anglers and Pierre is going perfect vs. our little town of garrison. I hope the weather is great and the fishing too. Go Oahe

Has Sakakawea made the list? I knew Audubon did but must of missed Sakakawea. Here is oahe in 15 which I missed as well so must not be paying to much attention! Definitely looks promising although I get a kick out of the forage base comment since that's not exactly true for her the last few years especially on the lower end but clearly must not be effecting the bass much. This is just the 25 of the central division so the No 9 doesn't mean all that much.

LOL....

I would say the only reason Oahe got this fishing tournament over ND is the culling rule! In SD I do believe one can cull/hygrade bass, but in ND culling of any fish is a no-no!

That and it's a 50 mile drive from the good bass lakes to any major towns to put on the show up here.
