I ordered the armachillo boxers, they are supposed to keep the boys cooler, and they seem to, but they back side wants to creep up my ass constantly. Iffn I am doing anything active I cant wear them as I am constantly picking them out of my ass.

I've loved their pants for working. Def would be nice to have a store in Bismarck at some point.

Duluth has the best stuff I've ever worn. Been buying stuff there occasionally for twenty years at least. I haven't tried their boots but I'm going to buy my next pair there.

I too, have similar troubles with those at times; however, the buck naked ones are second to none.

I'm a fan. There is a store about 20 minutes away from me in MN. Free Swinging flannel and Buck Naked underwear are top notch. I also like the sizes. I am 6'1" with arms of a man that is at least 6'4". Nice to be able to buy good fitting shirts. They should do well in Fargo.

Yes I forgot to mention they carry talls. I buy shit I might never need from companies just because they carry tall things.

Covering my eyes, as I read this.

Maybe i'm wrong, but Filson seems to be at the point of being absurdly expensive just for the sake of being expensive. They seem like they cater to the big city crowd that wants to look rugged when they visit their MT ranch or show up in Nodak with $5,000 over-unders that they cant hit anything with.

Ive always been tempted to try Duluth Trading, but i've always been hesitant to order anything with out seeing it or trying it on.

I agree about Filson, although the quality really is there.

They have a catalog, and there are $1000 watches, pants well north of $200, duffel bags in the $700 range, and fixed blade "hunting" knives (although they are presentation grade) for close to ten grand.

Really nice stuff, if you have the wherewithal. Perfect for saying "screw you" to someone wearing Northface and Patagonia. You could walk into an LL Bean store, and a Swiss Army store, smile patronizingly, and say "no thanks" and walk back out.

I'm leaving Simms out of this, because I am a big fan.

northface and patagonia while making good clothes are both anti hunting so f them both. Filson does nothing for me at all it is heavy and bulky. I have no problem spending money on quality clothes as they can make or break an outing. I have suffered enough through the old bread bag in my boots and looking like the stay puff marshmallow man to not feel bad about what i have spent on sitka and first lite. The simms stuff by all accounts is the cats ass i would have no problem spending on it if i fished alot. I have a few articles of the duluth stuff and i like it. Throw piranta zions in there as my all time favorite every day pants to wear. I have tried to phase cotton out of my life completely.

Yvon Chouinard isn't anti hunting (he hunts), he's pro conservation and pro keeping wild places wild. That doesn't mean i agree with everything him or Patagonia stand for, but it doesn't stop me from buying some of their products as long as i get them for at least 50% off :). Its pretty much impossible to find a company that i agree with everything they do, Its like trying to find a politician i agree with 100%.

When I get to a computer I will post some links. They have now been caught in quality so I will buy from hunting companies.

My cheapa$$ will probably stick with FleetFarm and Walmart still. With $11-18 per pair jeans get ripped or grease all over them I don't feel as bad.

no stores that i know of.

the mountaineering world has been light years ahead of hunting in use of merino wool and synthetics. Now with hunting clothing having caught up and innovating every year there is no need to give money to companies who do not 100% support the hunting lifestyle. Patagonia was in support of the wolf debacle so that right there is enough for me to never support them

But your favorite pants are made buy a company that was founded for Yoga and climbing? You think they support the "hunting lifestyle"? I'm busting your chops but my whole point was its impossible to buy everything from a company i agree with 100%. I cant buy a ski shell or fly fishing waders or technical fishing shirts from Sitka, KUIU etc, nor did those companies sell good base layers or insulation pieces until recently.

No up until the last few years you could not but that has changed. I will say the new ascent pants from sitka are soon becoming my favorite and having them in solids is key. Comofire and a guy can get some great deals. If you can show me where prana has donated to anti hunting groups i wont buy another pair on principles.

Buck naked boxers and ballroom jeans. If you're a man, that's all you need to know about that.
