Boats from Wisconsin coming to fish tourneys in ND. I'm sure those tournament guys are really careful to steam clean their zebra mussel infested boats.

Having fished MWC, FLW, PWT, and Aim tourneys over the years the one thing I can say is that I've found these fishermen to be the most responsible anglers out there when it comes to aquatic nuisance prevention. They want their boats looking nice and due to their sponsors and their public persona they are the last people that would take a chance at being stopped or checked and having a boat with such issues. To most of these tourney anglers, cleaning their boats from going from one lake to another is routine. I know every fisheries biologist I've talked to has said their biggest fear is not the fishermen so much as the duck hunters. Hunting boats tend to be much dirtier, are put in in places with a lot of weeds and such, and often have cover such as cattails from their home lakes in them for camo purposes. You're barking up the wrong tree here E.

There's nothing wrong with a Audubon pick. There's no doubt that tourney will take 25 to maybe even more to win. For anyone who calls that lake the lake if 12" ers doesn't know how to fisH it.

Deal. I manage to catch some smallies and dent a prop when I fish Audubon. But, I have hammered some good sized fish while ice fishing.
