I donno , Iv'e never tasted venison that tasted like liver.

If your venison tastes like liver your doing it wrong.

I relish a fresh deer liver usually kill a 3.5 year old buck. Great stuff but freeze or eat quick it will go green fast.

Tenderloin, and back strap is all I enjoy out of the venison realm, but I come from a ranch family, and you cannot beat a black angus roast, or a quality beef ribeye.
