I had something big on the line down south of Mobridge today. First I thought it was a heavy branch and was pulling it in like a log. Then it fought back! I was using a one hook spinner and it was a smaller hook as I'm getting low on spinners. FK!!!!

I almost got a look at it but it got off just before I could see it.

That sucks the state record got off .

Not knowing is the worst. I’d much rather see it than not, even if it was a loss and a heartbreaker.

Not always , when it looks like a big Northern at first but then you see that white spot on the tail , it haunts you for years.
