Bad reviews is where i look fiest at any product i am buying. Number one it can tell you if there is a known issue with the product. Number 2 it can tell you how the company handled the issue. You have to sort through them but usually give you great incite into how a company handles issues. Then i take the positives into account. The negatives give me an idea if i were to have an issue what BS am I going to have to go through.

This toon is interesting with its battery set up for the starter/stereo/locator. It has a switch to run just one battery, which is recommended, then if you are beached running the stereo etc. and the battery afterwards wont crank the engine over you flip the switch and it connects the second battery in a still 12 volt operation to get you up and going. A safety so to speak for those of us that might beach for several hours with the beach music blasting.

5.5 hours today on the 3 year old interstate group 31 deep cycle. I thought I'd make it until black friday to order a battery, but it doesn't look like I will.

After about 12 hours with the trolling motor (112lb Terrova) running from 3 to 5 most of the time.

That is correct. Two 36 volt batteries, 50 amp/hour each and rigged in parallel. I've used this setup all year and have been really happy with it.

I probably could have gotten away with one battery and most people probably could. But had an issue (not with batteries but with camper power) and I'm glad I got two batteries.

Last June I fished a tournament and the campsite lost power the night before the tournament. One of my Twinions and I pulled spinners effectively for 8 solid hours the next day.

I ended up buying the LiTime 165AH battery in a group size 31. So far I've got two trips for 14 hours on the battery and it's still showing 82% available. I run my trolling motors hard since I'm scoping when I'm actually fishing. I'll update this form if I encounter any issues with LiTime, but as of now I'm very impressed.

The lithium are getting larger in power while staying near that size 31. At the same time price gets better each year.
My wife and I avoid commercial campgrounds like the plague so I have two 300amp batteries in our camper. 800 wat solar on the roof keeps them charged most days. Maybe add another 200 this spring.
