I love Bismarck, ND as a great place to live, except the cost of living index. Groceries, gasoline, etc.
seem to be higher priced than just about anywhere else in the country.

lol. I was wondering how long before we see those stickers. I remember the whole time Biden was in office I was seeing those stickers. Now they’re even higher and I have yet to see a Trump sticker like the one in this post.

We still have a ways to go

The highest statewide average gas price for regular unleaded in North Dakota during Joe Biden's presidency was \(\$4.80\) per gallon, which occurred in June 2022.During this record-breaking summer, prices in some specific cities like Bismarck peaked as high as \(\$4.85\) per gallon, while diesel prices surged to \(\$5.75\) per gallon.

Bismarck has been a gasoline rip-off for as long as I can remember.
I grew up in Bismarck thru 2 years at BJC (BSC). Then moved to Grand Forks
til returning to Bis in 1989.
Traveling from GF to Bis many times, the gas prices where (are) always much higher in the Capital city.
Even the small towns along the way where much cheaper. Still true today! (Mandan too).

Dickinson is probably worse than most of the state.

I do like to support the small town Stations whenever possible, Gackle Medina, etc. Usually same.price or maybe a couple pennies higher. Like the thought of a Coop being able to stay open mostly for the locals.

I try to do the same when heading east. Sterling or Steele generally cheaper than Bis-Man over the years and great to support local economy.

SE ND.
I've been using the Upside App for about 3yrs now and have accumulated about $2,100 in cash back. Can redeem it for various gift cards (amazon, Applebee's, etc), a prepay visa or to bank account. I have only used the Amazon gift card a couple times and have never linked it to my bank account.
I will say it isn't for everyone as it just depends on where you live and what gas stations choose to participate. For instance in Fargo I can get .25 back at one Circle K but all the others around it are .01-.17. Another thing is if you are doing a points program it doesn't let you double dip so if you redeem an offer on Upside and put then enter a loyalty number at the pump similar to Casey's they will cut your Upside amount down to .04-.08 per gal.
