Speaking of West Dakota...their slogan: Nobody beats our meats........anyone else think that is sophomoric? I have a hard time walking into a store that has that on a sign out front.West Dakota meat in Bismarck and Maple Valley locker in Enderlin also has good Sausage.
Its just my opinion that i would back up with a bet, thats what wager is a bet. Im sure wishek makes a great sausage but langdon locker has been around for decades.and adding in deer into the sausage makes it even better, i personally like putting it in the air fryer comes out much better then frying in a pan.How do you have this honest opinion on something that you've never had?![]()

How long in air fryer and is it for ring sausage. LBIts just my opinion that i would back up with a bet, thats what wager is a bet. I always put a inch or so of water in a frying pan. And cook it that way. There is no clean up to speak off.How long in air fryer and is it for ring sausage. LB
I like the Hunter and Cajun from there. This might sound like sacrilege, but Hornbachers actually makes some pretty good sausage. Andouille, hunters, German, country, kielbasa, polish, Cajun all pretty decent.
365 for 12 minutes or atleast 145How long in air fryer and is it for ring sausage. LB
Now that it’s under new ownership their smoked sausage takes on a whole new meaning. It’s the same guy who owns the dispensary next door.Speaking of West Dakota...their slogan: Nobody beats our meats........anyone else think that is sophomoric? I second Schmidt locker in Napoleon as having the best sausage. I try to pick up sausage and head cheese whenever I'm down there. Their headcheese is perfect. I've had Wishek sausage and its good but not as good as Schmidt locker. Langdon sausage is also excellent.Schmidt sausage in Napoleon is top of the line!! fry sausage is the best
We used to do it that way in a cast iron pan. Then let it run out of water, add some bacon grease or oil and fry it a bit on both sides. Now just use the air fryer. That 1" of water in a fry pan is a good method. Seems like the casings stay more tender that way, & the meat is nice & juicy.
Andouille also decent. Not as spicy as the 2 you mentioned, but a little spice on the backside.I like the Hunter and Cajun from there.
If you're not searing sausage on both sides at the end once the water evaporates you're wasting it IMHO and missing out on all the true taste.. I won't hardly eat it without a good little crust on the outsides anymore.I always put a inch or so of water in a frying pan. And cook it that way. There is no clean up to speak off.
What kinda man doesn't take their sausage cereal??wouldn't feed 75% of ppl's "homemade" stuff to my dogsYou have been around here long enough to know the sophomoric plays really good to this crowd. I think its funny people take shit to serious
