Remember those assignments where it had a bunch of random actions to perform and the last one was to sit quietly after you've read all the directions? I finished that bad boy while everyone else was just sitting around looking dumb.

Mike to his peers at recent conference:
"That green setting causes the muscle to separate from the skeleton a little bit. I don't recommend the green setting."

I slipped in the bathroom once and got a 7up bottle stuck in my anus. That's a lot of science and stuff...It resulted in the mockery of a bunch of Marines who are known to be too dense to appreciate the random nature of the Universe.

When I managed to get it out with a bit of my colon, they ran screaming like bitches when I went to beat them with it. This DID NOT happen at sea. I drank for free later and declined an invitation for a seat in a helicopter and some sort of train ride at a goat milk farm.

So this is what my pocket knife looked like after I got done experimenting with the work sharp. Not happy about it. I went the direction of sweeney and broke out my smaller stone (course and fine grit). After about 15 minutes of small circles, I ended up with this.

So overall, lesson learned. I will not be pulling the blade all the way through. I will also leave the green belts in the box. Thanks for the help guys.

Not a bad idea. Can you send serrated blades through a work sharp? Cause the mister twister is getting a little dull after three years.

I took my auger blades to a place in bismarck. Took them a month to get them done. That was in February and I keep forgetting to go pick them up.

Who has been drilling your holes? or did you just wait for open water?
Steffan will have them sharper than new and done in a day or two. Might be worth the trip west if you need em quick, you could shoot some yotes and drink some busch lights while you wait. Not at the same time of course but separately...haha

We have no pheasants otherwise I would suggest that as a time spender.

I usually have two sets of blades ready go just in case I hit some dirty ice. I might have to make a trip out there. I'm not much of a coyote hunter but I'm almost as good at finding/shooting pheasants as I am at drinking busch light. Too bad you don't have any out there.

remove the blade from the auger, drive over to the east side of town and find a place called Steffan saw and bike, have him sharpen your blades(its like $7) and you will have an easier time getting through the ice this hard water season.

If this makes sense your welcome, if not then eff off...haha

It's the thing that contacts the ice and makes a hole. You'd understand if you didn't spend all your time trying to start your yellow piece of shit.
