Buy a better fish finder/ pair of binoculars. Ever since I started utilizing the ole binocs I never seem to get skunked. I might even throw a spotting scope on the boat. See what color hooks they are using.

I am going to buy and try some of those new Salmo Bass Bugs. Hopefully they make one that is small enough for crappies to bite on. I had a blast in MN catching crappies in flooded trees on surface baits. Big sunnies too.

Try new lures?

Try new electronics?

Try now gear?

Try new waters?

Last year I dedicated myself to getting better with crankbaits. This year I will expand on that. I have also, finally, gotten a spot to plop my camper on Devils lake, so i will spend plenty of time mapping out areas, and learning that system.
So does this mean, members of this site have a place to stay, and or get inside fishing info (as in the exact spot the fish are biting in)?????;:;rofl ;:;rofl ;:;boozer

More often than not they're biting exactly on the rear hook of the crank bait.

Put a new Hummin Bird on my rig late last summer and only got to go our once to try it out and it wasn't near enough to get even a little feel for it. Thinkin I'm gonna like this down imaging. That and I want to pull cranks more. Did it a few times last year and had mixed results but I'm still learning. Devils Lake was actually where I had my best day pullin cranks, tried on Sak but just couldn't dial it in. Just gotta keep tryin till I figure it out.

Hey Vollmer, where did you end up? I spend a fair amount at the folk's place at West bay.

Well for starters I'm to plant a bunch on new varieties of vegetables in my garden.

Then I'm taking off for five days of fishing in Alaska. :;:cheers
