Uh...got one I can borrow? You'll need to work around my fence. And no, I'm not ripping out my tree row just to make it so you can nap longer in the cab without worrying about having to steer. :;:

Nope, but for about a half a million you can go buy one and the tractor to pull it. :)

Those valley folks (and a few others) seem to think there is nothing in ag beyond what they see driving to West Acres.

Hey plainsman, they must have filled in that channel A that you blamed for Devils Lake flooding the way the lake is dropping eh?

I don't understand the above picture

perhaps because it is bigger. ;)

well that's it then, we need a 100 million dollar study on why top soil blows around

Maybe them fellas are done studying how much duck peckers stretch and can jump on that.

Unsigned. :) senses of humor are short around here.

Inside the red is so heavily tilled it can be seen from space and the yellow of course is fargo and grandforks. Also anyone know what was burning so much down by Hankinson on wed?

Erosion blows! NDSU recently completed a study that evaluated topsoil loss in Grand Forks County. they determine that the sites in Grand Forks County lost anywhere from 12 to 16 inches of topsoil over the last 50 years.

Huh. Didn't have an acre blowing when we had that 50 mph wind the other day.

Ethanol plant (assume it's steam).
No way that's any kind of plant. Even on the coldest days the big power plants barely show up. That's without question a fire since the plum is the better part of 10 miles long. For perspective here is what the fire in the black hill last week that burned 1,300 acres.

Was in Fargo for the state GOP convention at the Scheels arena and it looked like a 3rd world garbage pit everywhere I looked in that town. Can't say I saw any dirt since the entire area was covered in garbage. Most cities have a land fill, from what I saw Fargo IS a land fill area.;:;barf

Saw the same thing when I was there a day or two ago. What a mess.

Yep, after hunting season we usually find more plastic grocery bags and trash in our tree rows and fence lines than topsoil..........;)

Sounds like country living is a burden upon you. You should probably move to Paris.

Plainsman given some of our tree rows are on land that is is hay and has not seen tillage for a number of years and the other tree rows are in land that is no tilled there really isn;t much dirt blowing around up here.

Easy there pains, notice the little winking icon indicating sarcasm? Pull your skirt down, your hate panties are showing.

Maybe you should dig a moat, build some walls, and hire a few hundred archers. Don't go connecting any sloughs/wetlands to the moat though or you'll be accused, convicted, and fined for drainage.

It really isn;t that big of a problem SDMF, I was being sarcastic. I should probably use that Sarcasm icon more so people can tell when I am being sarcastic because apparently this ;) is not adequate. :::

But then again maybe it wasn;'t to the level of sarcasm, but just kidding around. :;:

Any ways, don;t read too much into it.
