Anyone ever ice fish tschida ? I've never been there or hear anything about it . I'm thinking about heading there this weekend to check it out . Any tips or thoughts on that lake ?
Haha same here , it looks so promising ....seems like you spend all day hoping to find what you think will be a good night bite ...If you're wrong (and I usually am lol ) it makes for a long boring night .
Anyone have any luck on Audubon? Been there a few times this year out at Nelson bay marked tons of fish but only got a few to bite . I'm aware its mostly an early morning or night bite there but dang they are finicky . Biggest eye I caught was 15 inches. Caught around 10 pm in 12 fow.
I had an eskimo wide 1 inferno I really liked it but prefer the extra space in a bigger 2 man . I'm 5'8 while sitting the roof had plenty of clearance for my head and adequate room for hook sets .
Where are you located ? I'm in Lincoln but will probably head out to beaver bay tomorrow pm me if you'd like to come along ...I'm no expert but beaver has been pretty decent to me this year
I did just hear from a buddy it seems the east side of the bridge (where I was ) is allways very hard to fish because you have to find the channel I'm gonna go try again either today and tomorrow on the West side close to the main channel
Went to check out beaver bay today on the east side of the bridge. Might as well call it the dead sea I didn't mark any fish all day tried a bunch of different depths . Anyone have any helpful tips for that area ?
Finfan I'm thinking about heading there later this week was there any open water or was everything locked up ? I will probably use the wheeler but I've never been there and don't know if there is anything I should keep an eye out for any tips would be appreciated
