Looking to get on some hard water this weekend. Back in Bismarck after a average weekend of fishing LOW last weekend. Looking to get out Saturday as it looks to be too nice to be inside. Anyone have any reports of beaver or other bodies of water around the Bismarck area?

I tried Alkaline, south of Dawson, last Monday afternoon. 16 inches of ice and people (not me) driving everywhere. We kept 4 eater walleyes and let a couple small ones go. Wasn't fast and furious but not too bad. I was fishing in 12 FOW.

was thinking the same get up early hit the hard water in the morning, then if fishing was slow get on some final roosters of the season. ill start looking at some fish stocking reports to see if i can find some possible producers that are due if conditions have been right

I've been trying to find reports but there aren't much out there...maybe that's a good thing? ;) I hope so. I'll be in south central ND on a couple different lakes. Honestly at this point I just want a few for a good meal!

Just wondering if the lakes just north of you would have good ice, i assume most places do I just dont want to drive that way and get there and not be able to access some of those jumbo honey holes

^^^^^^ Reminds me of Les Nessman from WKRP when they threw turkeys out of a helicopter. He said "i thought turkeys could fly".
