Sorry, Again. I'll never forget the thrill of watching this live after Wembley 1975:

eye, are you racing mondak or ndma?
Mondak hasn’t existed for at least a dozen years unfortunately. Been going to MN actually. NDMA is down to four tracks and a horrible schedule. And in MN I actually get to race against guys my own age lol. At 57 it takes you out of your comfort zone to compete with 30 year olds.

I Haven't been on a bike in quite a few years but started pretty young on a on an old 50s or 60s 65cc wore out Yamaha street bike I took the ape handles and the sissy bar off my Schwinn and dressed it up some. Last dirt bike I had was an early 80s KX 500, no idea what new ones are like but even back then you better know how far to twist the throttle before you twist it. Our boys bought Honda 4 strokes for grandkids , Nice and quiet and plenty of power. They told me a dealer in either Jamestown or Valley City had the best price.

Motocross bikes now are essentially all four strokes aside from the little bikes. Hard to imagine four strokes spinning 12,000 rpm

Back in 1976 I bought my brother a Kawasaki 400 single jug that was retired from dirt track racing. They had her stripped down to 220# dry. Kick start and you had to mix oil in the gas. I think she was rated at about 50 horse power and it would climb a tree if you could hold on. Brother lived in town with my folks and the town cop came by one day and told my brother if he started it in town one more time he was putting a bullet in it. Pretty sure he meant it. I was scared shitless of that dam thing cause unless you were comfortable riding around on just the back wheel it was not the bike for you. If I remember right that bike put at least 3 guys in the ER, Kind of wonder what happened to it after I sold it in the early 80's. LB

They were crazy bikes. Todays 250 four stroke motocross bikes make 44hp stock 450’s low to mid 60’s. My 350 made 58. It’s insane what technology has done

Most guys these days are on 4 strokes but I'll stick with my 2 strokes. Left one is a 500 and right one is a 250. Ridden alot of 4 strokes but always had more fun on 2 strokes.

Very nice. Those Service Honda 500's have skyrocketed in value.

There isn't much that beats the sound of a built 125! It's interesting to see the manufacturers headed towards electric bikes. I'd love to ride the new Stark mx bike but no noise would be very hard to get used to. Honda just announced they're racing their electric prototype in the Japanese nationals.
