I have a target one with custom trigger and grips. Hadn't shot it for a while. Put 5 clips through it a few days ago. It misfired 3 rounds. In looking at them they were all one brand of ammo but in looking at most of the spent rounds it appeared to me that they all looked about the same as far as the dent/mark on the rim. I thought possibly weak. I plan on doing more shooting with a variety on ammo and examining the cases better.
May have to get a new spring for the firing pin. Any thoughts???

That seems to be the weak spot in that type of Ruger pistol.
Buddy had one years ago and his did the same thing. I don't know what he did to fix it or if he did fix it or just sold it.

I have some Winchester ammo a couple of years ago that wouldn't fire at the rate of 1 out of every 10 rounds.

Not going to sell it as it mostly shoots great. I am going to test a bunch of different ammo next week.
The trigger and the grips that Gordy put together for me are awesome. Accuracy is better than I am. :ROFLMAO:
Stay tuned for results.

Did it use to shoot before and after the trigger and grips, springs can get weak in trigger, could be ammo?
