Thats wonderful, how many people want to waste all the time it takes to do this. The pre fishing is almost worse than the tournaments .
That's what I like, a person bitches but doesn't do anything about it. Everyone has a phone. Take a picture of the boat and you have boat identification numbers. Call it in and if a tournament boat they will bring it up at weigh in or rules meeting before the tournament or Game Warden will be waiting at the dock for them.

Don't bitch about something, then do nothing but complain about it.

Then your other option to complain on the interweb about jackasses being jackasses. Because i would bet money that those people putting on those tournaments would like to know, i fished the catfish tournament one time and there was zero tolerance for anyone speeding through the river while boats were fishing, it was an automatic disqualification.

Allen did you read the proclamation and i believe, not like you, majority are going to use some sort of common sense when adressing these types of incidents. For example when i was up twice now, devils lake, there was two different tournaments going on and i could tell that tournament officials had addressed boats crossing under bridges because those crossing under the bridges ALL slowed down. Same as fishing to close to the shore were all abided by

No thats one of those incidents that was only 2 people the guy in the back hoe and the guy that wanted it done. If there were more it would have most definitely been a known.

He seems like a cool dude and someone who'd be fun to fish with. Should take him up on that $2k donation.

so with a pro livescoping....do you just have to run a net? It seems like the co-anglers in the NWT are just net men these days too....pretty soon it will be a local and pro in every local tournament with the locals eating sammiches and netting fish all day

Most tournament pros have a livescope setup in the back of the boat for the co-angler or else they are typically running live bait rigs in the back.

Last season the NWT was terrible, with only a 5 fish (or less dependent on body of water), it took the co angler completely out of the game. They have since realized this and increased the daily limit to give the co-angler a better chance. Primarily though as far as being a boat bitch, you are correct, however, a day on the water as a co being a net man learning how to utilize this stuff, is often better than being a random fisherman in the back of the boat. I co-angled the 2020 NWT on Sak, and I was a boat bitch back then, pre-FFS. Anyone that says they are co angling for the money and not the learning experience is lying as we all hope to learn something while being with them.
The pros aren't taking over our circuits and many have dabbled over the years, so nothing has really changed, nor do I expect it to. Most don't have the time or the need to try to jump into a local tournament with their already stretched out schedules.

So any updates on if they caught the lying, cheating bastards?

Nope. From the sounds of it all that was accomplished was losing more volunteers and more fisherman out the the entire deal.

Wait..what?? A team was actually caught/accused of cheating in the DCW tournament ?! WTF.. the payout isn't even worth the risk to cheat. If you ax me, The DWC isn't catapulting anyone's career into walleye fame or any type of street credit in the walleye world..

There could be a $2 pay out and you would still have a dumbass that would cheat. You would swear some of these guys depend on it for their income. Complete losers.
