Pretty sure Justin Jefferson is not walking away from 110 million guaranteed with an 35 million average salary.

Having a whole year off and not being able to practice will make a rookie look bad, and i still believe if we had a decent running back jjm would be able to settle his feet and his mind. Again minnesota has never been good at picking a franchise qb, Fran tarkenton was probably the only one that comes to mind. They are the seventh best winning percentage in the history of the NFL. In reality they need a couple bad years and some good draft picks . Salary cap is going to be a real problem next year.

Cullpepper doesnt shred his knee he could have been. He threw the deep ball about as good as anyone. That’s part of the problem with never just sucking you don’t get a chance at a top three pick.

He really only had one maybe 2 good season 2000 and 2004 other then that he was an average qb, his biggest physical issue was he had smaller hand for his size and was prone to throw lots of ducks that would end up intercepted. He is one of those guys that never fully recovered psychologically after getting hurt, i always wonder if qbs like Carson Wentz or RG3 would have had better careers if they never had serious injuries that needed surgery.

If we dont get a stud running back in the draft it won't matter how healthy our o line is, you look at every playoff contention team and they all have a running back and a strong defense. Koc is an offensive guru, so if he wants jm to do well in the pocket he needs to make the d linemen honor the run because right now teams dont.

Yep football is won or lost in the trenches. Need to improve the lines on both sides of the ball if they want to win consistently.

They don't need a rb, they need a freaking qb lol. They already have 2 good rbs that don't cover the stink of the qb position. This is an absolute dumpster fire and the gamble honestly couldn't have gone any worse than it did and will for years to come now.

Most likely, they'll sell low on Mccarthy and he'll go be a future HOF'r somewhere else. Now, that's life as a vikings fan to a T.

Kurt Warner said his offense is awful for inexperienced QB's and leads to bad mechanics and throws, because it is too complicated and inflexible which leads to them hanging on to the ball too long. It forces them to a rigid progression system that can’t be broken from or modified with no underneath routes to check down to. He also said the forced progressions are not in the right order.
