    Noticed this thing on the left side of the legs of my Blackstone. Skimmed owners manual because I was curious, but I'm not going to actually read it. I can't imagine a purpose for it, but know I have seen something similar before without giving it a second thought.

    The reason you're taking home less, it's because you have a lot more mouths to feed. In the last 20 years, the population has grown by 51M, while the workforce has declined 8M. That makes 59 million more people who are entitled to a piece of your pie.
