Are Weber grills worth the $$

Yes, I use mine year around. I have an all stainless model with a double lines hood, stays plenty warm in the winter months. I also have a weber Q for camping/fishing/icefishing or whenever my wife just wants hotdogs. They are worth every penny. How many weber's do we see on the streets during...

    guts question...

Why not call a warden and ask? I'm sure they will tell you, especially if you approach it as "what we've done in the past is.. but we are wondering if it is a legal way to transport our scraps to the grinder" or something like that. i'm sure you'll get a straight answer with no negative...

    13 fishing

+2 on the Fenwick rods. I run HMX's, still a great rod but having the extra sensitivity of the HMG or the elite tech would be nice, especially for pitching.

    Boat Trailer Replacement Fenders

I ordered my replacement fenders from River City in Bismarck. I don't remember how much they were though. But they are for a shorelander, the plastic ones with steps on the front, back and top.

    Auger...Off-Season Prep

I actually had my diaphragm dry up from running my auger out of gas. So now I just make sure there is new gas in it at the end of the year, mixed with sea foam, and I take it off the shelf and run it every couple of months during the summer. I do the same thing with my mowers and trimmer during...

    Tree planting ?'s

KDM, What about in a mowed yard? i've got 500 trees coming in late april, all conservation size. Freeman Maple, Meyer Spruce and Lilacs. I was planning on drilling holes with the dirt auger, then planting. I keep everything mowed and plan on watering weekly. Thoughts?

    Fishing Rod Comparison

I used to use an extra fast action for lindy's and liked it. But I traded that rod away several years ago. It was a Schimano Compre. mine was a 6'3"MLXF. I don't think they make that particular rod anymore. I use all fast actions now, fenwick HMX's. 5'9" medium fast for jigging. My pitching...

    Drywall Bismarck/Mandan Area

Not a big deal to wear white clothes... they'll be white at the end of the project, along with your tools, radio, ladders, scaffolds, and basically anything else that is in the area. :)

    Drywall Bismarck/Mandan Area

I had a couple quotes to hang, tape and texture my 1200SF basemnt that were around 4-6k. I ended up hanging the sheetrock on my own with the help of some friends, got it all done in three days, and now my taper is just about done. He is charging me 2600 to tape and texture. roughly 110 sheets of...

    New boat angler

plain and simple, you just have to put the time in and try not to piss people off, but I'm sure it'll happen. We've all been there. I started fishing the river in my own boat when I was 19, in a 14' crestliner with a 35hp evinrude. Man did we catch fish! but it took a lot of practice, lots of...

    Ice Auger

I have the quantums, I prefer them over the lazers because I can sharpen them at home, don't need to send them to a machine shop or back to strikemaster. That was my deciding factor. Either way, when you hit dirty ice, the chipper is going to be the only one that will handle for an extended...

    Do my own taxes...?

My wife and I do ours at home. Ours is pretty simple, a couple 1099's from employers, contribution statements, child tax credits, nothing out of the ballpark. Forms are actually very simple to figure out. IRS will mail you the package to fill out, then you mail it back. Same with the state tax...

    SUV recomendations

I'm not a huge fan of the cross over SUV classes.. but i've had a couple rentals i didn't mind. My favorite was the Nissan Murano. the 3.5L engine has a ton of power, and gets low 20's for fuel mileage. Nissans been making that engine forever. The other one i likes was the Toyota highlander. I...

    Boat Fuel Tanks

Lincoln cenex has 91 premium, no ethanol. I guess i've never had a problem with overflowing out of the vents on my lund. maybe it's old enough that it isn't an issue? i usually hold the handle though, i never lock it and walk away.
