    It's not a Lowrance Mark 4 HDI by any chance is it...? I would think the Mark 4 HDI may take a different ice transducer than the PTI WSU... The Mark 4s (other than the Mark 4 HDI) appear to take the 'uni-plug' in which the power cord and transducer cord are combined into the same 'uni-plug'...

    I have used regular silicone spray lubricant on snowblower chute and such to prevent/limit snow and ice buildup and it helps. Have not yet tried it on an ice auger though.

    I am guessing you are referring mainly to undesired diopter adjustment and interpupillary distance changes and still want center focus adjustment binoculars rather than individual eyepiece focus binoculars.... Vortex (and other brands as well) make models with locking diopter adjustment...
