We have the same problem, but this past winter tried using a anti fog wipe by windex (purchased at walmart) and they actually worked pretty good, but it did take two applications to get it to work. It was also a daily application!

    Trapping & Dogs

I would also familiarize yourself with the types of locks out there. A lot of locks can be used in ND with the right mods, specifically breakaways. Some use a j-hooks, s-hooks, some a hammered nut, some ferrels, basic locks, some have kill springs installed, etc. It isn't always the cable...

    Federal Government?

When I first heard this on the radio I thought that I had just misunderstood it, after checking into it a bit I guess I heard right. About a week ago there was a brief segment on 550 a.m. about the Grand Forks Air Force Base taking in approximately 150 Syrian refugees. I talked with an...

This Is What Life in North Dakota Looked Like in 1935

Not anymore, in the early 1900's they were marketed in the fur industry as "American Sable". The price for skunk went crazy as everyone wanted the "luxurious" sable fur coats. When people found out that sable was just skunk the market pretty much crashed.

This Is What Life in North Dakota Looked Like in 1935

Davey Crockett - you may know this guy or maybe your dad would, it is my dads cousin who grew up on the west side of the Turtle Mountains - Ingvald Thorhold. He always claimed that he paid for his farm with the money he made trapping. He kind of took me under his wing and taught me how to trap...

    Getting into Canada

You didn't by chance cross at Rainy River did you? We did this year and had a real winner of a lady there. I'm kind of hard of hearing I couldn't hear her very well, must have thought I was being funny asking her to repeat herself and she had us come in for a little interegation!

    Archery wyoming elk

I have never looked into elk in Wyoming but am assuming the draw system is the same as for antelope and here is the best description that I can find on how the lottery works in Wyoming. Not sure if this really answers any of your questions though? For the draw, Wyoming uses a preference point...
