    Have been using pontoon on the Missouri at times when too lazy to launch boat or more that 2 g kids want to tag along. Wondering if talon / power pole would be worth trying on the toon? Have not found an anchor setup that works with wind.

    Son has a Toro TimeCutter ZTR with 50" deck that he uses on a 2 acre yard. Works well for him. I use a JD 1025 with 60" deck on about 2.5 acres. Son cuts his yard in half the time and we both bag in spring and fall. Have used his Toro a few times and have been impressed.

    Have been custom building rods for many years as well. Was able to purchase a fairly large qty of St. Croix SC-V blanks about 4 years ago and primarily use those. Rainshadow also makes nice blanks for the price.
