Wildlife Photography.

I've really gotten into wildlife photography over the past couple of years. I suppose it is a natural progression for someone who loves cameras and spends a lot of time outside.

Anyone else make a hobby out of "hunting" with a lens?

When one has killed enough that the thought of killing becomes distasteful, one looks for the same satisfaction WITHOUT killing. Which is probably why some of the best outdoor photo guys were crazy driven hunters before. Nice pics BTW.

Bought a Nikon P1000 for a spotting scope and turns out I stumble into a few decent pictures sometimes. Best thing I have bought in a long time.

I have a ton more and a lot better pictures also but not sure I want to just give them away on the internet for free ( idk yet )

Wish my camera had better guts in it for pictures like these, but can’t get a super zoom with that setup or without spending 30k

I have to get close for the good duck photos. All of the good ones I get are 30 yards and in. It has taught me a lot about decoying birds that I wouldn't learn if I was just hunting them.
