    I have the arched set and really like them. I used a set like the one pictured above and hated them. Too narrow and too steep for the half ton pickup and atv I had at the time. with the arched ones, I have had no troubles getting a Polaris 850 into the box of my f250.

    AR 10 for deer hunting or just fun

    I have a 308 and have used it for deer. I also built a 243 but haven’t used that one yet. the 308has done me well. I used it for 2 rifle tags and filled both of them. i stuck with either 5 or 10 round mags. I have 20 rd mags but didn’t use those for deer hunting.

    Public land is public land - everyone can hit it anytime. Just because someone is there prior to another person doesn't give either one priority. I've had people come up on us on Public and Private land and either stop and visit or say hi and move on. We've come up on others as well...

    Several years ago we were rifle hunting our normal area and we watched 2 guys walk a tree row. No shitting you -- there was a deer walking about 40 years right behind them following them. They had no idea it was there!

    I leave my windows open. I used these for anchors (except the ones I used were black) - and use ratchet straps to tie it down. It held up really well last year.
