    Nice thing about the river is she is either making ice or eating it and even though it's not overly warm out right now it's still to warm to keep ice on her and she's ripping it out at a rate of two to three miles a day.

    Well first off more like 20 miles and you can bank on it having to do with it having some sort of funky setup because this is not remotely the norm for their forecast models. You can also bank on it changing massively before it gets here or Nebraska or Canada or wherever it hits.

    I would love to see the European model because the two on pivotal are dropping back with Bismarck getting 8.9 to 9.5 inches and being one of the hardest hit. But at the same time the NWS is throttling up with a big area of 12 to 16 along and east of the river so clearly someone is seeing...

    They had a winter storm warning up there but not a blizzard so nothing there has changed. The wind with this thing has always been down in SD for the most part where it could get as high as 65 but doesn't go much north of the border thus the southern warning where enough of the snow overlaps...

    Found this model run interesting for Bismarck as we sat in the warm side for an extended period but then in the course of one frame jumped to damn near 9 inches. Definitely showing an east west bias running in that Jamestown Devil's Lake run area but still too far out to really get a good grip...

    Hunting accident - near miss

    Unsafe shot aside my biggest question is what's the limit there since he switches his attention back to the trees even before the moose is all the way down. Assuming this must be some sort of moose Drive with pushers coming through the forest or something and he seems to be looking for number two.
