    I have an Orca as well and love it. Keeps Ice all weekend and like you mentioned got it on sale at a great price. As others have mentioned, it's important to pre-cool your ice chest, but it also helps greatly to pre cool whatever you are putting in it.

    This ^^^. I use the small sizes for smaller cranks, like #5 flicker shads/minnows. I find smaller cranks run better with smaller snaps. For larger cranks like #9 or #11 flicker minnows/reef runners, I use the larger snaps.

    I did snag a paddle fish last year with 8lb test, medium action rod and a 1/4 oz jig. Took me 50 minutes, but I did land it. Even snagged closer to the tail as you can see in the pic. My fish was considerably larger than the 16.9lbs in question. It is possible. Lots of guys snag these beasts...

    I saw a picture yesterday of a dead one that was found floating. Measured 32" and weighed 15lbs. didn't look decomposed at all.
