    So latest GFS showing mostly 10-16" for Friday, some model runs showing 2-3" liquid. Ridge over eastern US flattens and the storm should speed up if that holds true. NWS has been mentioning this storm in forecast discussion for 5 or 6 days now and that is unusual.

    Line skillet with bacon, cook about half done then add the corn bread batter and bake as usual. It's like pigapple upside downcake If you have any Steven Raichlen books, he has a recipe for bbq cabbage. I made it a couple times and it is pretty tasty. I also like beer braised cabbage with bbq.

    I've often wondered how they made the hydrometers I use to check salinity on produced water; same coiled piece of paper. I assume they adjust said paper and then close the tube with a torch. Comes with a certification and all.
