    id check codes on the metal part. my only advice would be to go zero maintenance on as much as possible up front. A lot of people spend their whole weekend on continual landscaping and maintenance and it just becomes work work work. build something you can enjoy. my 2 cents

    thank you for the replies and insight. I bought hopefully enough OTC stuff to do the first coat, probably monday, weather permitting. Figuring 100ft/bucket as driveway is super dry and porous.

    my driveway is around 20yrs old and as near as i can tell has never been treated. Its getting pitted and showing it. Any advice on an overlay vs resealing? my thought is that its a little late for sealer. My budget says its a little too much$ for an overlay? i think its around 1500 sqft
