    Blue state(MN) has buck gun tags over the counter...plus LOTS of Public Land... a lot more than Nodak... Kansas always has tags but you have to buy them from Landowners/guides...very costly..very BIG bucks.

    Best canned fish I've ever had were small Brook trout caught in a small colorado stream, my buddy put one table spoon of Ott's salad dressing in each pint jar packed with the heads cut off and gutted and scaled trout... better than any sardines and I like sardines!     I have one Walleye on the wall, a 24" caught with a blue Hotntot...Douglas Bay...1987. Mounted by Brian Kadramas when he still personally did fish. Still looks Awesome! My Son's First Walleye caught by himself!!

    Bleeding them out is important with bass, if Im going to eat them I always do that and then throw them on ice till Im ready to fillet them. Second they don't freeze well, makes em even softer. Fry em up that night or the next at the latest.

    Mowing or burning also gets rid of it.....no spray.. But the edges are where Sharptails like to nest.. and there is a reason they call it Buck brush.... Bucks like to bed down in it...

    Yep got the Lowrance like yours, I can see better with than the hummingbird. Got to compare them at Reeds on the water during a special trial. Had it for three years. Biggest fault is poor vis on high sunny days. Use it a lot on Leech for walleyes.

    Unless you plant a lot of flowers the deer will mow all the developing heads off in the summer... they love em! Small plots only will feed them for a couple weeks in late july.

    Nice, Zander over 25lbs are routine in europe. But a different species that walleye as different as sauger.. The redfinned perch is related to our yellow perch but also a different species. Their Northern pike though is the same species... interesting is that european pike fishermen still...
