    The Missouri River bottoms were full of Elk when Lewis and Clark came up... Painted Woods area north of Bismarck was the major wintering area of all the Elk. There were a few North of Bismarck about 10 years ago until someone poached them...

    Trespasser

    Hope you catch him and can prosecute! Will be hard for theft of property unless you have camera up high aimed at your game cam and catch them taking it that way. I know a guy that did catch a thief/trespasser that way, that stole his gamecam.

    Birds that catch other birds...

    If it was able to carry the dove either a cooper's hawk, male prairie falcon, or male peregrine falcon. Peregrines are usually thru Nodak by 1st of Oct though. If didn't fly far with dove, a sharp shinned hawk (smaller version of Cooper's) or a Merlin (Pigeon Hawk). Saw 2 merlins north of...
