Wolf River Trail cam has walleyees every where!

You can fast forward and run out of video, so I assume.

Wolf River Trail cam has walleyees every where!

It's kinda weird that it's prerecorded and not live. Makes you wonder when it's from....

    Lakes Open?

I had heard there was a big open area there, which is pretty typical.

    1 year fishing licenses?

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Canada is 6 and we all race to go up there for good fishing.....

    How many???

This is why I'm mounting two more. I like to run side scan on full screen to follow weed lines and mark rocks or etc so I can swing over them on the next pass. On the other graph I run sonar and mapping. I honestly use DI very little.

    electronics question

You are correct, unless they've upgraded the newest trolling motor ducers to be able to, all of them I know just work with sonar. And I also agree bang for buck on size go with the 7's. Just think, a few years ago a 989 was over a grand and the Helix models have the same size screen for half...

    electronics question

Yeah you can the the 5 and 7 with or without SI, DI or whatever. The price difference on the Helix Gen 2 is almost the same and they have auto chart live down to the 5" model. Hummingbird is killing it with the Helix series. A lot of bang for buck and the technology is among the best. YouTube...

How do we forget so easily

On Winnipeg last weekend there were geese honking, bald eagles flying around and tons of crows. There were even seagulls eating on the trillions of walleye eggs and carcasses on the ice from the commercial guys. - - - Updated - - - :bigpuke:

Tiger muskie out of Devils Lake?

The reason lakes with mushky are closed to spear fishing is because of their existence. The fact that DL is open to spear fishing shows the G & F have written them off in there. Sconi or not, if he gets fined it's BS.

    Navionics vs lake master?

    - - - Updated - - - Check out the new Helix gen 2 series. They're taking live mapping to a new level. The Helix unit will actually distinguish bottom densities and show shading from hard to soft bottom. The thing to me that navionics has going for them is their app is much cheaper...

    Lake Winnipeg Update 2017

Haha, I agree it's not a given. Take 4 days and 6 guys though and fish Sakakawea as hard as you do up there, and you'll stand a good chance of icing some fish in the upper 20's. It depends on time of the year etc., but it's very doable. To be honestly, I've done exactly this on Audobon a few...

    Lake Winnipeg Update 2017

It sounds like we were fishing pretty close to each other on the ridge. We had real similar luck both overall and in deep water. A few of the guys ran north 15 miles or so and couldn't find fish out there much either. We made a last run Sunday morning before we left. Actually found a spot in...

    13 fishing

I run both 13 and St Croix rods and like them equally. I am not a Fenwick fan but it's a personal preference not a bad experience.

Questions about Last Mountian Lake in Saskatchewan

Yeah ive been wanting to take a trip there for a few years now. Unless they have an open winter where you can access the west end, it seems like it wouldn't be worth the drive. It sounds to me like the east end is so damn sketchy ice wise.

    Lake Winnipeg Update 2017

Yeah that's kind of the direction I'm leaning as well. My next thought is if they're tough to find out there, then go looking for a distinct mud line and fish the cleaner side of it, whatever depth that may be. We leave Thursday morning. We stay in a house up in Sandy Hook, so we'll pretty...

    Lake Winnipeg Update 2017

Is anyone fishing close to the mouth this year, or is it just too muddy? Most years theres nobody fishing north of about 17' of water, so definitely a different year.
