What websites do you guys use to buy arrows from? I want some fletched for me with a right offset fletch and don’t know what websites are trustable. I found one called papes archery, they have exactly the arrow and fletch colors for a good deal but don’t know if I should trust them or not. Any info?
Thanks for all the replies! My next question is, which pro shop should I take it to? Scheels? Archer's Elite in MInot? Bismarck? Stanley? I make frequent trips from Minot to Fargo so I am not too worried about where I go. Just want the best setup/tuning.
Just bought a Hoyt Pro Defiant and am looking to rig it out. I am thinking I want a three pin slider or a single pin and have been looking at spot hogg fast eddie xl and the black gold ascent verdict. Any thoughts?
Also, if anyone wants to suggest some rests and releases to shoot I would be...
It should fuel you to want to sit longer and more often, to harvest the big buck before the outsiders do. Sucks regardless tho... but so goes the world!
Take a little propane torch and run it over the meat quickly to burn off all the hair that gets stuck to it during processing. And no, I'm not talking about holding it on the meat so it cooks it on the hanging deer, just run the flame back and forth over the meat to singe off any loose hairs.
To me, I like the memories made bullshitting around a hung deer in the back garage telling stories and lies with the family... I would miss that aspect if I started field quartering my deer. Now if I were in a back country situation, definitely quarter in field and haul on my back.
I Find the "no time to hang signs" excuse pretty pathetic... there is always time. What do you do for the 9 months out of the year you aren't in a tractor/combine?
Thats an old survey quarter corner marker. Placed there in the 1800s after Lewis and Clark came through. I thought it was neat how it is still there today. Found lots of them on various surveys I did!
The only thing dividing this country is the people not unifying under the flag. The media and leftists groups are the ones destroying unity... not the hardworking Americans who want to enjoy a football game and not have to have a political agenda shoved down their throats. Go back to your peanut...
For me, they have fished the same. The only difference I have found is that the shiver minnow doesn't snag up as much (I think because it doesn't have the nose hook). I also like some of the color patterns shiver minnows have more than the jigging raps.
