    For vertical jigging I have a 6'6 ML Scheels rod I really like. For pitching jigs I like a 7 ft ML, scheels again. I started using a bait caster for bouncers last year and I am really happy with it. The rod I have for BB is the older series Jason Mitchell rod.

    The Regular 40 Hour Work Week

    My job is pretty flexible. During the summer I try to work 9 hours a day Monday - Wednesday and then leave early to golf Thursdays and early to fish on Fridays. During the winter I try to work 9 hrs a day Monday-Thursday and leave early Fridays to ice fish. I usually am pretty close to 40.

    Scheels Rods/Reels

    I have been really happy with the older guide series rods and the ONE rods. I recently got a walleye series rod and I'm happy with it so far.

    Devils Lake

    Early in the year is pretty easy. Fish the bays and fish the windy shorelines. Pitch cranks or plastics. Slip bobbering with leeches is also good.
