Do the coal last and make sure you use a steel bucket. If you do the charcoal before the rest of the stuff in your bucket-list bucket it'll burn up all the ideas and you'll be done bucket-listing.
I have the 22” @ the camper. We almost never cook inside anymore, keeps it cooler inside.
I still use the grill for steaks and chicken. I prefer burgers off the griddle.
The last big downturn '07-'09 saw a TON of consolidation in the marine world which ultimately isn't great for the consumer.
Independent boat manufacturers get caught in the middle during a credit crunch. As consumer debt increases and spending drops, smaller shops get their lines of credit cut...
$246.01 seems like a bargain to just buy that fish vs. buying a boat, pulling the boat, running the boat, tackle, fish-finders, trolling motors, etc, ec, etc. I wonder how they decided on $15.59/#?
I wonder if there's a way to obtain info regarding how much "wobble" was programmed into GPS system satellites on the day in question?
Absent a differential GPS system, fence, section-line, creek/river denoting property lines, I wouldn't be skirting the "edges" of a ranch with the idea of using...
Sometimes a better thing really does come along. Take the 53gn V-max. You get 69gn SMK BC with .224 53gn speed.
I prefer TSX/TTSX to Partitions because I've found the barnes easier to obtain accuracy and their performance consistency across a wide range of weights, diameters, and impact...
I prefer to have it, especially if your scope tops out @ 12x or higher. I typically set mine between 100-200 and adjust as necessary if I'm taking a longer shot and have time.
I actually find it more valuable for practice than actual hunting.
I've found Badlands projectiles are easy to find an accurate load for. I've loaded the 95's in a 257Wby, 128's and 140's in 270Win, 175's and 195's in 300Win.
I've settled on the 95's in the 257Wby, 140's in a 1:8 270Win, and 175's in 300Win.
The only reason I didn't recommend them up front...
Congrats on the tag. I've considered getting in on that but never have.
2007 I borrowed my 270Win shooting 140gn TSX to a gal I knew who drew a NM Oryx. She got hers @ just under 300yds and both bullets passed through. That's the full extent of my actual Oryx knowledge
If I were going to...
Fast twist rates @ less velocity can absolutely rival the "disassembly and hang-time" of the hot-rods.
Like a good many other critters, getting the results you want is about WHERE you place the bullet. If you want the PD to be doing cold-war era Romanian trapeze act stuff, you gotta get them...
I did my Yamaha 3.3L F200 SeaStar system last spring. I bought the Dometic kit for the SeaStar that came with the caps, O-rings, and spanner tool. I also bought the bleeder line that goes between the 2 valves that look like air-hose couplers.
I'd never done, or watched one done and I believe...
