    Poor Smelts - Water warming up to quickly

    Yeah there were dead smelt everywhere from McKenzie to skunk. Even the seagulls and pelicans were full and just didn’t seem to care anymore about the thousands of easy meals. Walleye were jam packed with smelt as well.

    Smith makes some great fishing specific glasses. I have glass and plastic lenses and I do like the clarity of glass a bit better, but they are heavier, so I find myself wearing plastic a bit more.

    What’s your defention of flood control? I’d say 1 flood in 65 years that didn’t break the top 20 record crest is pretty f’n good. Also your 15’ claim is meaningless without water volume, takes much less to raise 15’ at lower levels...

    It’s predicted to go up 4 more feet to 1849, I’m predicting 1850 unless they really up the flows out. They did up them today and I think they are going to about 40,000cfs by end of month. The MT runoff is just starting to hit, a lot of water to come yet, if they start getting a bunch of rain...

    Borden Harbor road goes back into Lakewood. There is that other little inlet between Lakewood and Marina Bay, maybe that little inlet is actually called Borden Harbor? Not sure on that one.

There was some serious erosion during the flood, before that it was basically a normal point that was always above water, and there was a little inlet to the north of it.     The rules you describe sound like what MLF does correct? I actually don't like that format, IMO it encourages guys to just go out and catch a bunch of smaller active fish. When you limit them to a certain number then guys have to go find the bigger bites.

    Yep according to one of the articles i read, His brother caught a 15.01 earlier this year. Supposedly this guys biggest had only been 24" though :;:huh

    Sad thing is by beating it by only 1oz there is still a lot of room left considering the state of the Mo./Sak right now. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see it get beat again within a year or 2 after standing for 60 years. Thank god we finally have a legit record though!!

    Bitcoin isn't an investment its a pure gamble. There is nothing of actual value like "investing" in real estate, stocks, etc. Basically i wouldn't put any money in that you aren't willing to lose tomorrow.
