    i'm no scientist, and have no real knowledge on the question... but the thing i've always wondered is how many who want slots, and are passionate about it, pass on the nice high quality bucks or bulls, and take maybe the best breeding buck or bull (genetically speaking) out of the herd instead...

    i watched a show last week with a guy throwing a frog what looked like 60 - 70' then floated... i found one at sportsmans today... the thing would have floated up to the ceiling if i took it out of the package... those bass guys are magic...

    my dad and i ran a 5+ year test on gulp... i used it 95% of the time and my dad always used live crawlers averaging 50 days per year on open water... unless the fish were very negative, the gulp worked at least as well if not better... the 5% of the time i changed were those days... couple...

    no, it (codette lake) is much deeper in places than i've seen on the nipawin river where we fish which drains into the nipawin river, then to tobin... i will say i should have said the saugers were within 2 miles of the dam in the river and in faster water... i have fished tobin lake some...
