    funny thing is though, the reservoir just upstream is codette... we would go there on bad weather days and get our "take home fish" at 21" or less, and lots of 10" perch... same water, just on the upside of the dam... on the tobin side of the dam we would also catch saugers up to 16", but...

    i agree... i fished tobin for many years... they have a slot of nothing between 21 and 34"... it works up there... there is just some water that is "different" i think... there were many days you would catch 10+ slot fish per boat but couldn't get enough under 21's to get supper for everyone...

    i have a 20' now with bunks under it... i can load and unload in less than 3 minutes 90% of the time... i'm not special as anyone efficient on a boat ramp will have no problem with a toon and bunks... my trailer came with inside front and back guides for each tube which pretty much makes it...

    i've had them checked at at least 3 different sask lakes (2 trophy - tobin & last mtn) over the past 15 years and never had a problem... i just squeeze each barb with a needle nose hard once... just another tool in their bag if you're a dick...
