    I need one!

Even if cost was not an issue it looks to me like a toy that would quickly lose its appeal. Kind of like a golf simulator in the summer. Real fish would far outweigh the simulator

    Deer with a growth?

I passed Biology (passed but don't claim to be an expert) and I'm pretty sure that growth is a little ways away from the genitals.

Breakfast it does the body good

I use hash browns instead of tator tots but very similar. Love a breakfast burrito and I also add some sour cream and salsa on top. If you have a group you can also make a bunch, put them in a pan and then heat in oven for awhile and serve. Alway a hit. I like the idea of tator tots as well.

    Drywall Finishing

I won't argue that professionals might be a better option. However, its not that hard if you take your time and patience. I do prefer a 12" trowel for at least the last coat As stated earlier, wider is better. Corner trowels do work but they're not wide enough for the final application for me...

    Drywall Finishing

Personally, I thought finishing the drywall in an area like a bedroom is fairly easy. Buy premixed mud and a couple good trowels and have at it. Make sure that at least the last coat is lightweight, sands easier. Take your time and realize that a seam with too much mud is better than not enough...

    Leather strop maintenance

Do those of you who use them think they do a better job than a steel? I'm guessing I already know the answer to that question.

Roost Buster - The Non Resident Way

You are correct about hunting the roost. I like to hunt water but it is never the roost. Always shallow enough to wade and never very big. I've seen locals hunt the roost as well but it is generally a non-resident with a boat.

    Leather strop maintenance

Have to admit that I've never used one. Before I was too young to shave I remember watching the local barber using one before he gave a shave to a customer. Do barbers even do that anymore? Those of you who use a strop, what do you use them for? Looking for more than "sharpening a knife or...

    Archambault is out

I went back and read your first post. Failed to see what was so bad. i guess sometimes the truth hurts.

    Ruffed Grouse, Dog and Wolves

Read this yesterday. Sounded like it happened fast with little time to react. I'm thinking I would have been shooting the wolf but when there were children involved a person never knows how they would have reacted. Give the guy credit for realizing he needed to protect the children first. On...

    Hail the bison

Preseason is over. MVC play starts and every weekend is potentially a tough game. Especially when most of the games against the top of the league are on the road. Don't look for any more blowouts. Every point is going to be important.

Mountain lion sighting confirmed along Missouri River in Burleigh County

Missouri River that could certainly be true as some of that habitat is rougher and similar to the cliffs, etc. that mountain lions like for ambushing their dinner.

Mountain lion sighting confirmed along Missouri River in Burleigh County

They do travel around occasionally. Most likely a younger one looking to make a home. The truth is that even though they are seen outside of the badlands area, they are unlikely to establish a home very far away from that area. Flatlands are not their preferred habitat.

    Trailer Sway

Oh boy, that's just too easy. That happens when you switch from a Chevy to a Ford.

Whose has the better tasting walleye

It's possible because as a general rule, Sakakawea water is cleaner than DL. I for one am a firm believer that how a person takes care of what they eat is just or more important than where it came from.

    Door Guy

I agree with this, cutting the door can be done but if it's a front door it has a sill at the bottom designed to seal out drafts. Cutting the door completely eliminates the seal. Raising the whole door is a much better option in my opinion.

    Deer growth from last year

Everything I have ever heard from those who raise livestock is that dry years usually produce bigger calves because the grass has more protein. Same should apply to deer. Not an expert, just what I've always heard from those who make their living growing animals.

Appendix decided to put a kibosh on my hunting and fishing

Been there, done that. After it passed it was immediate relief. Then when they gave me the stainer to piss through so I could catch the stone and have it analyzed I was pretty sure there was no way a stone that caused that much pain was going to pass through the swizzle stick without further...

    Hail the bison

Scheduling is not always as easy as it would appear. Most are correct in stating that there are not a lot of FCS schools anxious to play higher level FBS schools. Losses for them are embarrassing. Also, most games that are not conference games are scheduled years in advance. Doesn't NDSU have...

    Telemarketers

It's not for everybody but instead of getting mad, having a little fun with them can be entertaining. Try a few different approaches and see which works the best or confuses them the most. As long as they're wasting your time you might as well waste theirs and get a chuckle out of the situation...
