    Duck 101: How to prepare

Gadwall is pretty much identical to mallard only smaller. The main point to cooking duck: DO NOT OVER COOK! This can not be repeated enough. Most people that dislike duck cook it until it's well done or shoe leather. Yuck! Duck should be seared and rare to medium rare like beef.

E5 is the entire state outside the other 4 units. It's basically for wandering elk outside the preferred areas.

    Early Fall?

I think it could be a warmer or colder winter with more or less snow than typical. I'm guessing we will have periods of sun and clouds with wind and snow. More then likely it'll get damn cold with spirts of mild days sprinkled in around January and February. I could be wrong or right or a...

    Duck Stamp?

So I called the place that sends out the stamps last Thursday and they sent the original out to me on 8/9. So far that one is still MIA. They sent me a second one via priority mail and I got it today. WTF is with our mail? I wonder where the other one ended up. Anyway if you haven't received...

    Bluegill

If there are big gills in there I'd use a beetle spin or jig and twister tail. The little buggers love worms and usually beat the big boys to them.

    Duck Stamp?

Yeah I'm not sure why the stamp is needed either. I thought at first they were going away from sending out an actual stamp but then I noticed the date on the license and went to their site and saw they are still required. Must be a FED thing. I definitely do not want to be checked by some FED...

    Duck Stamp?

So I bought my duck stamp through the GNF site a few weeks ago and still have not got the stamp in the mail yet. Seemed like last year it was less then a week between purchase and the stamp showing up. Anyone else buy thru them and how long did it take to get the stamp this year? Just worried...

    Operating Drones for Profit

Didn't want to start a new thread so figured I'd bump this one up. Anyone have a drone? Make and model? Pros and cons? Looking at getting one to play with, would be fun to get some aerial video/pics of the home, food plots, hunting areas, etc. Looks like they have come a long way with these...

ND doesn't need any stupid out of state boat inspections

Ducks, geese, gulls, shore birds, turtles, muskrats, beavers, basically anything that travels from one water body to the next is a possible carrier. You can have the woe is me view or just deal with it ago about your business. There's no point in getting wound up over it if you ask me. They will...

ND doesn't need any stupid out of state boat inspections

What's funny is all these "experts" can't except the fact that these things are indeed transported by birds and other wildlife. Wonder why government agencies are so head strong to blame everything on human activity. It's like they can't believe anything can happen without a human being involved!
