    keeping fish alive in summer?

I use my livewell too but still bleed my walleyes before cleaning. I transfer them to a 5 gallon bucket and slit their gills while getting the boat ready to head home. They are bleed out by the time I hit the cleaning station. The fillets are just much better if the fish are bleed out IMO.

    Fish recycling!

Off topic but WTF is with dogs and wanting to roll in the stinkiest shit they can find? My labs seem to love to roll in compost or a rotting pile of beans spilled by the bins, heck even their own shit sometimes!

    Fish recycling!

;:;barf I'm guessing you are gonna have a hell of a stinky messy goo in a month. What do you plan on doing with this goo and how do you plan on getting it out of the container?

You talking about Patterson? He made a plea deal and got 18 months in prison.

For all you tough guys that think it's ok to punch somebody just remember one punch can kill someone and change a lot of lives forever. A "tough guy" in Fargo learned that lesson the hard way. I'd never want to live with that no matter what someone said to me.

Would have hoped he'd have learned to control his temper after killing somebody......guess not.

    Evinrude Issues

That would be the first thing I would try to figure out. Might have cracked something that is causing a fuel leak. Do you run sea foam or any other fuel additive? Might have some gum in the carbs that could use a good cleaning too. You're right, finding that bracket might be an issue, I'm...

Been waiting for the bastages to disappear before setting out my trail cams but the damn things are still fairly thick for this time of year!

Public land locked by private land question

There's very little land that's "landlocked" in ND thanks to our section lines. There's more then likely several access routes to the land in question. Remember even if both sides of a section line are posted you can walk or even drive down that section line to access land beyond. There also...

    Putting Camso tracks on...

Ha had to google camso, didn't know camoplast had been bought out. TIL today thanks guy.:;:thumbsup I doubt a short trip or 3 on gravel or any other terrain will make much difference. The mattracks are made of a harder compound but they wear on terrain other then snow or mud too. That's what...

    Did Oahe Winterkill??

Can't believe people still want to fight over space on these 2 sloughs in ND when the fishing is just as great in a lot of less pressured lakes. Went to a small lake Saturday and had my limit of walleye in 2 hours. There were only 2 other boats on the lake and we all kept our distance from each...

    Transom Saver

Yeah that "My Wedge" thingy isn't doing anything to help the transom of the boat. The boat transom is still carrying all of the weight from the engine. My first boat had a 115 on it and I never used a transom support, never had any issues. The boat I have now has a 75 on it and it has a transom...

    4th of July

Thought the Presidents salute to our armed forces was really well done. It's a shame the media didn't broadcast it for all to see and sad that the lefties had to make it a political point. It had nothing to do with politics. God bless America!

    ELK

First you complain about the elk, now a neighbor lady takes it upon herself to help rid you of the elk and you complain about her help, sheesh you're a hard one to please db.....:;: BTW there appears to be 2 fine fillies in that there side by side. If those lassies be old enough perhaps they'd...

Pulling the Reserve Out of the Trees

I'm sure the water pump impeller is shot so that's the first thing to replace. Drop the lower unit lube and replace that. Check the plugs, clean or replace. Get some fresh gas and a little sea foam and fire it up.
