    The Polymer lowers have been around for a long time. They function very well. I would not be scared of them one bit. Look at the amount of handguns made from polymer and dont forget the pmags.

    And while your at it pull the pivot shaft off the stub shaft and clean it up. Regrease it and slide it on. I have seen houses that wont go down as the pivot shaft is seized up.

    I talked to a local warden yesterday abut this. And he said lawyer or no lawyer there getting a ticket. I told him about your post and what you said. He said there two side to every story. And during deer rifle season everyone is getting a ticket if they have a load gun in a vehicle.

    You will not look back if you buy a Citori. I have shot mine for yrs and never a problem. My Dad had a Winchester 101 and about half the time the ejectors wouldnt work. The Ruger Red label is a nice gun. Thing is you can take it out and shoot it to see if you like it.

    I new a guy from Fullerton N.D. that would hatch out and raise over 100,000 a yr. And he had no more Pheasants around his place than any other place. He always had Chuckers getting loose and they stuck around till the weather got them or the Fox.
