    I have the Chefs Choice 630. Have sliced "a lot" of meat for jerky . Tons of roast beef thin slice. The 615 gets a lot of good reviews also.

    Was in a local sporting goods store a few years ago. Demo was a 20" piece of Stren 6# mono tied to the end eyelet of both a 7' med fast action Fenwick and a Loomis ( don't recall models). You would hold rod at arms length, turn head away from, and the Rep would flick the bottom of the string...

    This is probably just actually a normal winter. Haven't checked records. But I think we just got spoiled for a few years that were really mild. The older one gets, the harder it is to tolerate though.

    Battery tender safest bet. If you have auto start, turn the power switch off. That will drain battery about as quick as the clock if sitting for extended period.

    The tow hitch is great. The only bad thing when pulling on bare ice with trks, is they will still come around "real" quick and up on top of the trks. It's not pretty. I had to run straps to each side of the atv to prevent.
