    Roll Your Own .44

You think that's worse than all the folks who clean rifles with bronze and/or SS brushes sans a cleaning rod guide?

    House boat vacation

Mark me down for a cabin w/AC, hot water, flush toilets, no bugs, and I'll bring my own boat thank you very much.

    Roll Your Own .44

IMO the yaw isn't a speed/twist issue, it's a COG issue. To be taken serious in the accuracy realm, the .40S&W cases would need to be turned down to get rid of the high spots and make the middle the middle (Center of Gravity). More twist and more speed don't really aid a bullet that's spinning...

What are you listening to these days?

I think that's the song that was playing when Conan was in James Earl Jones' castle and killed the giant snake.

    Winter project~

So we’ve gone from supercharged, to turbo, to stroker w/Nitrous and someone else is laying rubber down. Snow, is that your car or does someone else own it?

Where's the turbo, I don't see one? Nor do I see the aforementioned Super-Charger.

Way easier drawing tags for dirt chunks as well.

    used boat prices

If you'd seen the shit-show ditch-launching that used to occur in the "Pelican" or any of the NW chain portions of Devils Lake, there is no such thing as "too big to put into a body of water". The only limiting factor is finding a place to float the boat OFF the trailer. Getting it back on can...

    used boat prices

How many folks do you want on the boat? Are you content leaving the boat on the trailer when the wind blows? Dad's neighbor had a 16' Lund w/50HP Merc tiller. I can remember riding bitch in a standard-cab pickup from Bismarck S to Cattail Bay, seeing the waves and turning right around and...

    Spring gobblers

Wild Turkey breast and thighs cubed, boiled in Swanson chicken broth makes EXCELLENT soup. Carrots, Celery, Pearl Onions, and good noodles. UMMMMMMMM! Most people who don't like wild turkey tried to pluck and roast one but forgot that wild turkey's aren't self-basting. Call your grandma...

    Upgrades

The Pro-Sport's nose sits almost as high out of the water as a Fisherman. Why on earth would one EVER mount a NEW bow-mount and then have to utter: "Yeah, it works pretty good most days, until the wind is over 15 then the prop shoots out of the water."?

24V 72" shaft bow mount. Yes you DO need 24V and the only reason I say 72" shaft is because they don't make one that 84". You can make the other stuff work, but, if the bow mount runs out of juice on a long day and/or can't keep the prop down in the water with a little chop, it's useless, it's...

    Haulover Inlet in Florida

I thought the 'toon was going to snap in half. Running the yellow boat from atop the poling platform didn't look like ANY fun at all either. I admit to laughing out loud when I hear the high-pitched screechy unsolicited "advice" being uttered in the captains' direction. Must be is perfect...

    4 stroke engine oil

Annually. I fish 40-50 days/yr but rarely get more than 50-60hrs on my main, probably less than 20hrs on my kicker. My bow mount gets about 987609709897659780 hrs/summer.

    4 stroke engine oil

I've used AmsOil Marine in my Yamaha F200 and 9.9. I'm not an oilologist but I assume there's more corrosion inhibitors in marine specific oils.

Best way to sell a gun

No, Scheels isn't going to "screw" you. It's generally a very transparent process. Granted it's been 20yrs since I've worked in a Scheels store, but, I'd show the customer the retail value of their proposed trade-in gun in the "Blue Book of Gun Values" which provides values from new in box...
