    300 @ 1350 and 445 @ 1550. Different projectiles, much higher BC on #2. Lowest FPE I've hit a deer w/via 270Win is just under 1100 and it was a "Bang-Flop". Lowest FPE period was ~875 via 243AI/105 A-Max @ 730, another "Bang-Flop".

100% agree and I 100% understand why they did it. I've salvaged countless days of fishing either for myself or for friends/neighbors by having the leftovers from transducer mount kits, a few spare cassette pumps, and a few wire connectors.

In terms of real $$. Nails are probably 100x CHEAPER now than they were up through WWII.

Will he be toting a LRF? Assuming: 1. Variable power scope 2. Second Focal Plane 3. Duplex reticle For the most part with an honest to goodness 200yd zero, I mean, shooting paper @ 200 and being dead on, the scope turned up to the highest power, the intersection of the thick/thin portion...

We laughed going through grandpa's shop. Coffee cans full of "straightened" nails, nuts & bolts, square-chuck bits for hand-crank drills, etc, etc, etc. That said, if I buy something that comes with a "kit" to put it together and there are extra nuts, bolts, screws, or even the cheapo stamped...

I’ve gone through situation #1 quite a few times.

What scope? I HATE MPBR. It’s always a guess and guessing almost always equals incorrect assumptions that result in the critter trotting off after the shooter shoots over said critter. Guessing is stupid because we don’t have to guess anymore.

No. Velocity predictions via Powder charge manipulations are linear in the program. The prediction output related to velocity and bbl length is also linear so no accounting for when you're achieving more or less efficient/complete burn based on bbl length. In my version there's no...

I've used QL for 15yrs give or take. I don't do annual updates. I update when a new projectile or powder launches that is of interest to me. Updates are typically under $20 and again typically, available annually. If you wait long enough that you can no longer update but need a new version...

There's still 1/2Dz Norma powders on Powder Valley in burn rates that should be acceptable from 222 through any non-magnums. Basically from H322/IMR3031 up through H4350 type burn rates. Given the current situation, IMO one of the best things a reloader could do would be to spend $160 on...

Probably so they don't completely freak people out with "different". Why have a traditional top/midsection? The whole idea behind electric motors is their simplicity, why jumble them up with more mechanical parts and parasitic power loss? Heat being the devil for all things electric, why...

You kinda had to be there RE the Vollmer's wader thing. Fuggin methed-out cheetah couldn't have caught Big-V on the night in question.

It's not a really low knee, it's a really high ankle. Look @ about :35 sec. Left cat has his foot completely flat and you can see his "knee" where it oughta be. The "knee" is more evident on the right hand cat in the same time period but you can't see the foot/ankle.

    Commies

I think there needs to be an awful lot more time for the rule-makers to meet with the folks whom they believe have been "failed by the system" prior to each new rule being made. Small intimate group therapy sessions free from the distractions of law enforcement and security guards. Make sure...

If they ever "get there" with the technology they should be able to incorporate dual throttle controls easy enough. Some sort of "regular" throttle whether hand or foot control, then a "low-speed" rheostat or digital style throttle for trolling. Perhaps even another "gear" or integrated...

Powder Valley and Graf's have a bunch of Accurate, Norma, VV, Win, and Ramshot powders. Just about any burn rate one could need could be covered today.

    Dakota maid ammo?

No clue, but, if forced to guess I'd say gunpowder plants are probably what many consider to be environmentally unfriendly.

    Dakota maid ammo?

They're going to have to figure out how to manufacture their own priming compound, primer cups, and smokeless powder first and foremost. Brass and projectiles can probably be out-sourced with reasonable availability. It's an interesting concept. The closest thing out there right now to a...
