    The last 2 free-range chickens I procured cost me 2 boxes of 25ea 2 3/4" S&B 00-Buck. That was pre "noshellsontheshelves". I expect those same chickens could now be procured for the same ammo but 1 sleeve of 5ea/chicken. Ammo for chickens. It's a thing.

    Frozen whole with the feathers on and guts intact or dressed, plucked, and singed clean then frozen and vac'd? In short, define "Whole". At present, a whole chicken carcass vac sealed and frozen say 4-6# is worth about 25 .22LR shells or 10 loaded 223's.
