    The lake froze over last night at Yates. Still 15 degrees as I type. Supposed to get below 0 tonight. That might put a decent layer? With low lake levels the channel will be an issue no matter how cold. Might be able to fish the intake and Cattail bay very soon.

    Well, I went to get the mail, as we have to go to post office in my town, and it was CLOSED! Since when does 6 inches of snow and not much wind shut down the PO? The gas station across the street was open for business.

    I consider myself fairly computer literate. I'm 54 and use computers for my job every day. I still get confused by some it though, as do our I.T. guys. I've never tried to use the app or whatever they have to look up the land.

    There are a lot of eagles in my area. There is a bald eagles nest just north of town and we see those 2 with their young flying around all the time. There is another bald eagles nest by the state line also. These are both right by the river. Then over by McLaughlin, I know of a bald eagles...
