    Lowrance 3D structure scan

Yeah, that looks pretty cool. It's like a downscan image when you rotate it but with the width of side imaging. Sounds like it takes a different transducer. They're always coming up with something better as soon as you buy something new, like I did last spring. I didn't think the structure scan...

Tatonka Dust goes to the World Food Championships!

I use Tatonka on most of my beef roasts as well as pan-fried burger or pan-seared steaks. I don't use it near as much on my grill-cooked food as I like using liquid soy sauce and/or worcestershire. Overall this spice kicks major ass!!!!

    Whole meat venison jerky

If using a good cut of meat (deer, elk, beef) I like my whole muscle jerky cut with the grain so I can rip a long strip off with my teeth. I like this type of jerky pretty dry, however. When making goose jerky I cut across the grain and keep it a lot less dry. This will give you a fairly tender...

    Food Slicer

I bought a cheaper one from Cabela's or Scheel's, it's a LEM brand. I only use it a handful of times per year and for that amount of usage I would say it works well. Because of some flex in the thinner materials I have to rotate what I'm cutting every once in a while, but I can get some paper...

Brought the boat into the field for some grouse hunting on the way to the lake. Nothing better than a cast-and-blast day.

    Are drill assemblies interchangeable?

Funny video. I see two things wrong, first is the DeWalt, second is the drill needs to be set on the lowest speed.

    Are drill assemblies interchangeable?

From what I've heard overall about the propane augers the past couple years I would go gas or just join the revolution and go electric.

    Canned Pheasant

I would process pints at 75 minutes and quarts at 90 minutes. If you're canning with bone-in the processing times are actually a little bit shorter, 65 and 75 minutes, respectively. If you're doing raw pack, do not add liquid to the jars.

    Your Best Thanksgiving Recipes....

All you need to bring is a propane burner and a pot. A good way to make breakfast in the morning is to put eggs, cheese, and your other favorite fixings in a ziplock bag, mix it around, and toss it in a pot of boiling water. In a matter of minutes you have a hot omelet.

The English Coulee behind my house has a layer of ice on it yet as of noon today. That will all be gone by this afternoon, however.

    1. Dried beef slice 2. Spread cream cheese 3. Roll it around a green onion Get your dried beef from your local butcher and have them slice it a little thicker than normal so you can spread the cream cheese without it ripping apart.
