    Yes you must pinch your barbs. I have never felt that I have lost a fish due to pinched barbs and have actually started pinching some of my ice jigs to make unhooking faster.

    Found were we went. It was Artery Lake, fly in and cabin was provided by Jacksons Lodge and Outpost, Lac du Bonnet. Great owners and great experiences, my dads neighbor has been going up there for about 22-25yrs and I was able to go once so far with them.

    The Blood Vein River (MB/Ont area) system has what you are talking about I know. Did a fly-in a few years ago, think it was Atitak Park, and that's what they were. I should have a couple pics somewhere if you need one.

    I see know problem with Winni pig walleyes beings I can't hardly catch one beside accident/dumb fish of the lake. Panfish (do Bass count;)) and Pike would be nice.

    That is what I have figured and I tried the new gasket if I remember correctly. Will have to take another look at it now that the temps are starting to come down. I'm sure it is something simple.
