    For you guys that drop $30k+ on a boat, how often do you fish? I know I could never justify it. I think I got my boat out 3 times last summer (that is not the number of times I fished, just most of the time I'm in someone else's boat).

    No. Not really. I was thinking about making the switch to Barnes anyway because I like their performance/consistency. I think the amount of mourning dove they say die from it is vastly overstated.

    That is true but once it gets past the initial hurdle of hide and rib bones (on a typical "good" hit) the only thing stopping it is comparatively soft organs and the space in between those organs.     SDMF, since the bullets are designed to expend all energy upon impact, do you think the energy is more transferred out, like a wide cone shape, or more so forward? (I would guess it matters which bullet too, the softer the bullet, the wider the cone).

    I suppose if the dust is as fine as he is describing, it could pass through flesh without showing visible tissue damage. Maybe even "between" individual cells? I don't know. Trying to figure it out too.
